Lemon Garlic White Wine Pasta

Ingredients:

Butter – ¼ Cup

White Wine – 1 1/4 Cup

Garlic – 4 Cloves

Olive Oil – ¼ Cup

Parmesan Cheese – 1 Cup

Spaghetti or Bucatini – 1lb

Lemon – 2 tbsp. – Freshly Squeezed

Onion – 1 Sliced

Red Peppers – 2 Large Dice

Mushrooms – 1 cup – Sliced

Roasted Vegetable Seasoning - Butcher Bro’s BBQ

Recipe:

Cook the Pasta:

  • Boil water in a large pot and add a pinch of salt
  • Cook pasta until “al dente” (firm but not hard to bite)

Prepare the Sauce

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat
  • Add the olive oil and minced garlic, then simmer while stirring for about 2 minutes
  • Pour in the white wine and continue simmering on low for 5-7 minutes or until the alcohol smell has dissipated

In a separate pan start to sauté your Peppers, then add your onions, and mushrooms. Season with Butcher Bros BBQ Roasted Vegetable seasoning. Once fully cooked, add to your sauce.

Combine Pasta & Sauce

  • Drain your pasta and add it to your sauce
  • Gradually sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese while stirring, allowing it to melt evenly
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding some left over pasta water if needed.
